Final Showcase:
Reflection Video:
Group 3! Very well done. I thoroughly enjoyed your Prezi presentation. The flow was clear, concise, and in no way intimidating. As a person who resist math on a regular basis, I would say you definitely meet goal #4. I appreciated the parallels drawn between your theories, your syllabus, and your final product. Additionally, your reflection video was lovely. I have to agree with almost everything you said. Group investment key and I too have become friends with my groupmates. Thank you for beautifully structured class and enjoyable presentation of your final product.

Group 2, oh my goodness! Your Final Showcase was so in depth, yet very easy to follow and user-friendly. I can tell you put a lot of work into this! The presentation not only looked appealing, but the way the information was provided was appealing, clear, and easy to understand. Your reflection video was also very well done! I agree with your points about both blogger and the weekly discussions. Although blogger is a great way to reflect on the projects and an avenue to maintain access to the work after the class has ended, it could be kind of a headache! The discussions were great in that they provided various viewpoints and different perspectives for looking at the same questions. Great job overall, group 2!
ReplyDeleteGroup 2 your Prezi presentation was excellent! I like how you included a career pathway plan and soft skill development into your course by using the four pillars of learning framework in your math implementation videos. The learning activities in individual, small groups, and large groups accommodates all learners. You clearly addressed retention of math skills using the four pillars of learning framework. I like how you created the supportive learning environment in your course by building relationships with groups and the facilitator. Your project effectively demonstrated how the brain and mind work with learning. I really like how your project applied what we learned in this course to a mathematics course. Great job!

I also enjoyed the collaborative learning style and getting to learn from others through this course. I also struggled with the blog at the beginning of the course, as this was my first time working with a blog, I spent a lot of time working on just figuring out how to format my post(s).

Group 3!
ReplyDeleteYou all did an excellent job with your Prezi presentation and final reflection. Everything was concise and easy to follow. I enjoyed how you made each aspect of your showcase come full circle with the theories you explored this semester. I also echo your sentiments about working in a group setting and how enjoyable it has been.
